I'm a former DOD and VA employee with a mother who's worked for the DOD since 1980. I utilize personal experience and decades of federal hiring knowledge gleaned from my mother to help others achieve federal employment.
As a federal job coach, I work with a wide range of individuals including, but not limited to, transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses, first time federal applicants, current federal employees and recent college and university graduates. Most of my clients are certified medical coders (mainly newly certified AHIMA CCA and AAPC CPC-A coders with little to no experience) who are looking to get hired with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Defense Health Agency, Indian Health Service or Department of Labor's Office of Workers' Compensation Programs.
